Gorham Community Access Television
What is Public Access Television?
The short answer is it is citizen media!
The Town of Gorham has negotiated a cable franchise agreement with a Cable Television Provider.
In Gorham's case that is Time Warner Cable. Federal law allows the town to require the cable provider to offer “public, educational, or government” (PEG) access channels.
Gorham has 2 PEG channels. Channel 2, GOCAT serves the community interest while Channel 3, GGETV serves the town and school department. We will be changing the town site to give GGETV information only.
This new site is dedicated to Channel 2 (GOCAT), serving the community and its technology needs!
